Description

The defense and security community is in need of transformative solutions that enable a “Continuous Offset” in mission capabilities. Such solutions will come from the systematic convergence of the best ideas from multiple domains.

Integration with Social/Policy Dimensions, for Mission Innovation: Multi-Domain Command and Control (and NC3), Synthetic Biology, Human-machine Collaborative Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, Recon (ISR)

This particular convergence event will focus on “AI+”—How novel AI algorithms must be combined with enabling technologies in Autonomy/Control, Advanced Computing, Machine Learning, Novel Sensing, etc. for a variety of missions.

At this event, we will:

  • present specific funding opportunities here now or about to emerge, and the mission imperatives behind them,
  • lead facilitated discussion among participants about convergence strategies enabling Purdue to lead in “AI+” for defense/security,
  • review an internal funding opportunity sponsored by iGSDI to encourage the generation and refinement of our best ideas to advance (An RFP for this will be released ahead of this Event so that questions can be addressed); proposals will be due around March 15th, and selected proposals announced within 2 weeks afterwards.

Space is limited. Please register before February 12th.
